On October 26, 2013 history was made at Bally’s Casino Tunica. That was the day that competitive eater Joey “Jaws” Chestnut at 121 Twinkies at the 1st Ever World Twinkie Eating Championship. Why Twinkies you say? Well in November of 2012 it was announced that the Twinkie would no longer be made. Leaving millions of cake lovers in mourning. But alas, in 2013 Twinkies went back into production and have made what Hostess says is “the sweetest comeback in the history of ever”.
