Tunica’s casino-hotels are getting into the holidays with themed giveaways and packages. With all the money being spent on gifts and parties during the holiday season, it’s nice to a have few extra chances to win or save on a meal in Tunica.

Elves are already running around on casino floors, and seafood specials are going to be popular. Here are some highlights from December promotions:

Gaming and Giveaways

• Bally’s: The $100,000 Stocking Stuffer Giveaway will award 25 winners $1,000 in Free Slot Play each week. Earn entries now through noon on December 22, and they can be activated each day of the giveaway beginning at 2 p.m. Giveaways are December 8, 15 and 22 from 4 p.m. until midnight. Bally’s is also commemorating 12-12-12 on Wednesday, December 12 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. You could leave Bally’s with Free Slot Play and some Tunica swag by winning a 12 , 12 , 12 T-shirt.
• The Fitz: Sixty gift cards to Dillard’s, Macy’s, Bass Pro Shops and Nike will be given away every Saturday in December from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. during the Great Gift Card Giveaway. On Christmas Day, earn 10x Point Value on all machines from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.
• Gold Strike: Win a 2012 Lexus IS350 during Revved up Jackpots by playing select penny slots until December 23. Eligible slots are located at the east end of the casino near the main entrance. Until December 22 from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m., several Winning Wonderland drawings each Thursday and Saturday will lead to a grand prize drawing on December 22. A total of 800 winners will receive a share of $1 million in Freeplay.
• Harrah’s: Football fans should stop by Harrah’s each Monday for Money Night Football. When you visit the Field House at Harrah’s, you’ll receive between $1,500 and $2,000 of fake money to bet against the house on football-related trivia. If you become a new Total Rewards cardholder before December 31, you’ll receive a free Monopoly T-shirt.
• Hollywood: There are a few weekend promotions going on at Hollywood: If you end up in the Happy Holly-Days Hot Seat on a Saturday in December (December 8, 15 and 22), you could win $500 or $1,000. Sundays (December 9, 16 and 23), win a share of $7,500 in Free SlotPlay at the Sunday Superstar Slot Tournament. Receive free entry if you earn 50 points in a day in December. Celebrity and Producer members enter free.
• Horseshoe: At the Monopoly kiosk, all Total Rewards members will receive one free turn and an additional free turn for every 50 Tier Credits they earn each promotional day. Additionally, there will be a drawing each Tuesday at 8:15 p.m. where five guests will win $1,000 in Free Slot Play. Both promotions run until December 25.
• Resorts: In December, Suited Blackjack Pays Double. Play blackjack Sundays through Thursdays from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. to take advantage of the promotion. Also be on the lookout for the Elves on the Go. One of the Resorts elves could give you Free Slot Play, a free buffet meal or hotel stay Fridays and Saturdays in December from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m.
• Roadhouse: All Total Rewards members will receive one free entry into the $20,000 Santa Hat Surprise Drawing each Friday until December 28. In the drawing, four names will be called every 30 minutes from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. to pick a prize from Santa’s hat. The Everyone Wins Drawing each Sunday in December will award everyone who swipes their Total Rewards card at the promotions counter between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. the day of the drawing with $100 Free Slot Play, $20 Free Slot Play, $10 Free Slot Play or 1,000 Reward Credits.
• Sam’s Town: Sam’s Town is giving away a trip to Las Vegas, slot dollars, gift cards and tailgate prize packages in the Football Giveaway. B Connected members who are 50 or older can participate in Senior Day (Thursdays). Offers are available at the promotions kiosks after 7 a.m. each Thursday until 9 p.m. Members will receive $5 in FastPlay and $5 off the Great Buffet for registering.

Dining

• Bally’s: Choose three seafood items for $22.99 at the Barn until December 30. The Barn has a selection of crab legs, fried shrimp, shrimp scampi, grilled shrimp, catfish and fish of the day.
• Gold Strike: At the Courtyard Buffet, a whole lobster is $22.99 each Saturday night. Beer and wine is complimentary Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
• Resorts: Continuing with the seafood theme, TJ’s Steakhouse has a $19.99 filet and lobster special Wednesdays through Sundays until December 30.
• Hollywood: A 16-oz bone-in ham steak country breakfast is $6 Mondays through Fridays from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. Breakfast comes with bone-in ham steak, eggs and hash browns.
• Sam’s Town: At Twain’s, enjoy early bird and late night specials from Twain’s Early Bird Special menu. Early bird and late night hours are 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. until close.
