Go all in while in Tunica and not just at the Blackjack table. The G.W Henderson Aquatic Center is Mississippi’s largest natatorium. This means that even when it’s freezing outside you can still swim like it’s summertime.
The state of the art aquatic center features 39,000 sq. ft. with a 2,000 sq. ft. children’s play pool with spray features, and an 8-lane, 50 meter, Olympic competition pool, with 17 ft. diving well, 1 and 3 meter springboards and 5, 7.5, and 10 meter platforms. The center is home to many swimming and diving invitationals throughout the year. They even have water aerobics and scuba lessons.
The Tunica Aquatic Center is open to the public seven days a week. Hours are Monday – Friday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is just $7 for ages 16 and over, $5 for ages 13-15, $3 for ages 5-12 and children 4 and under are free.
