Off The Eaten Path…Sears Street Grocery

We all know that Tunica is home to some fabulous restaurants at the casinos, but if you’re a true foodie, you know some of the best food is just off the eaten path. If you were to ask the locals in Tunica where to get the best hamburger, more than likely you will hear Sears Street Grocery mentioned.

While Sears Street Grocery is known for its listing on the Tamale Trail, their cheeseburger is our favorite. Even on the busiest of days in the office, you can just mention a burger from Sears Street and everything stops. That is exactly what happened recently during a day of meetings with our advertising agency, CS2. Check out our video to see what Rachel with cs2 has to say about her first Sears Street burger.

To start, the burger is enormous. You can get anything you want on it, but its best when you just tell them everything. Everything includes cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, and spread (mayo). To make it even more delish, have them add their grilled onions – YUM! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. For only $6 you can get a huge juicy, sloppy burger and fries.

Sears Street Grocery is located in the “Old Sub” in the Town of Tunica. Their address is 1176 Flagg Street, Tunica, MS 38676. You can dine in or carry-out. If burgers and tamales aren’t your thing, you can call ahead and see what their lunch specials are for the day (662) 363-7999.

Tip – Fridays are BBQ day. It’s some of the best BBQ you have ever put in your mouth. I suggest the rib sandwich.
